having trouble reinstalling limewire

I am attempting to reinstall limewire. It wont complete this due to hidden files of the previous version. It says and older version is running. Where do I go to find and delete them.

Hello..I had to go to my program files and find it there and deleted the rest of the program that way then I was able to reinstall it again. Good luck.

Click on > If LimeWire Will Not Load

and have a look at > Fixes For Limewire When LW Isn't Operating As It Should
