Limewire Setup Wizard
 

Hi,
I need some help. I upgraded my limewire to 4.16.7 and I cannot seem to proceed. Limewire setup wizard pops up and asks me to pick network speed, system startup and content filtering but doesn't have a button where I can go to the next screen. What do I do?

rscafati could you please tell me what the answer is to your question because i got 4.16.7 also and it is giving me the same stuff.

I am having the exact same problem!!! Has anyone helped you?

Have windows 98 and regret the (basic) update, can't get any music now, all are queued no options.

I too, am having the same problem with the wizard set up, and cant get any further than that. Can anyone help

I am going to uninstall and start over from scratch; will let you know if it works. Thank you for replying!

Worked! Uninstall completely, close browser, and google limewire.com . Download from scratch basic with no updates (free version is this anyway) and it works fine.

This seems to have helped a number of members having problems with the Setup Wizard.

Try this... setup freezes
Need to change the Font size.

Limer4 was right. Completely unistall limewire and then go to limewire.com and reinstall. It worked!!

I give up!!!! I have tried the uninstall and reinstall, that didnt work, i tried the font size, that didnt work. I had LW before and it worked fine, then i lost everything on my computer. Trying to install LW wasnt this difficult before, this is ridiculous, i will find something else:mad2:

limewire not opening up
 

i have used limewire for a couple of years now and i upgraded to Pro, now i can not even open the application. when i try to click on the icon it just sits there and does nothing. i have tried to reinstall and uninstall several times but still nothing happens. can anyone help

Could be a Java issue. Remove All Java versions installed (via Add/Remove Programs) before you install the latest Version. (Download the JRE Offline Installer)
