Remove All Java versions installed (via Add/Remove Programs) before you install the latest Version. (Download the JRE Offline Installer)
Java SE Downloads Fifth one down. ( 1.6.7 ). Hope this Helps. |

Install Java first: Download Java software from Sun Microsystems & choose ONLY the OFFLINE java installer. It's about 13 or 15 MB in size download. Once downloading the installer, then install (all files within installer, no installing over the internet.)
![]() However, I would recommend before you do that to defragment your drives & make as much space available as possible. You should have a minimum of 250 MB ram also. BTW are you sure you are installing Pro? How large is the installer file? |
