Limewire Launcher Error

I have purchased Limewire 4.18.8 and I have had it running up until recently. After a PC problem I want to reload Limewire - I can install the limewire program and finish the installation successfully but as soon as I try to start Limewire I get a small dialog box saying there is a Limewire Launcher Error, Lime failed to load and that I should downoal Limewire again. I have downloaded limewire again and even gone back to an old version of limewire (4.12.6) but every time I try to start any version of limewire I get the same message.

I run Trend Micro PC Cillin Pro and have included Limwire in the exceptions program list.

Any help would be appreciated.

It May or May not be a Java Issue. Try this.

Try uninstalling all versions of Java from add/remove programs and then use Crap Cleaner to clean the registry.
