Startup error message. Tried everything forum suggested

Had to wipe my computer clean yesterday and the first thing i did was download limewire. I even got to download some music from it


Made a list of all my songs on my ipod and finally got on the computer. And it won't work saying there's a start up error


I've installed java the offline version that was mentioned, uninstalled and reinstalled a few times

Uninstalled all traces of limewire on my computer and reinstalled again and again


and now 6 hours after trying to fix it, i'm still trying to get onto limewire

i've tried frostwire and bearshare which i hate!!

Any more suggestions?

Before you installed the latest Java, did you remove all other Java versions installed on your computer (via Add/Remove Programs)? Having more than 1 Java version installed seems to cause probs with LW for a lot of users
