Newbie here.... running Win XP OS and downloaded LimeWirePro installer to my desktop. When I click on it, hourglass comes on for a few seconds but nothing happens.
I have the new version of JAVA installed. Tried several times but cannot get installer to open/work.
The file downloaded from the Install site is LimeWireWin.1.2D0D17 and the file type is .efw file
Any help would be appreciated, thanks.

Also, turn your anti spyware & other anti utilities off during installation. One of them might be rogue toward p2p sharing programs.

LW installer is not one of your normal add/remove control panel type installers. It uses a different type of installer.
