First timer and I have no idea how I got to this point where I can actually type something. All I wanted to do was ask Limewire people how I can get the old version of Limewire. My system crashed awhile back and I had to reload. This new version of Limewire, in my opinion, is totally confusing compared to the original version. I have seen this happen before when they attempt to "improve" something and it turs out worse than the original--it happened. Can I get the old version? If not, I'm bailing out because this version SUCKS--sorry if that offends you. I designed and wrote programs for 35 years before retirement so I know a little about the subject. Also, why does Limewire make it next to impossible for a user to ask a question. If you think this forum is the answer, you're wrong. Only the techies can wade their way through this maze. I couldn't actually myself because I'm probably in the wrong place asking a question that nobody will every answer. We'll see! I'll keep watching my email for an answer.

LW dropped many functions from the new version 5. However they are gradually bringing them back in, with some improvements along the way.

I don't know why but when I keyed in the word "market", (partial name of a classical song - could not remember it all) the new Limewire found no such song. Now, with the older version it found my song immediately. "In a persian market" was the first entry.
