lime wire wont work for me! Won't install!
 

everytime i try to install it it says... it has problems installing and it says to send them a bug so they can try and fix my problem and they never do... does anyone know how to fix this problem?? if so write back to me...:aweof::bangh:

If using Vista, set the installer to run as Admin. After installing, right-click the LW shortcut on desktop & set to run as Admin.

Remember, LW 5.2.1 is a beta version. If you wish to use that version then use that beta installer instead of the one mentioned in the link in previous paragraph.

it still wont work. i did all the things you mentioned and lw still doesnt work. i have window xp home if that helps. please help me!!

So despite cleaning the registry after uninstalling & reinstalling Java with offline installer, it still won't work?
Try this version, just unzip & use: Download ‘Other’ version & simply unzip & use!. If problems opening it, check options #5 & 6 here Fixes for Limewire (click on blue link).

Still don't see your system details other than Windows XP. I presume you are using Java 1.6? LW 5 will not run with any earlier version.
We need system setup details for a reason. Otherwise we're purely stabbing in the dark for answers. That's why we specified this in the forum rules. ;)
