New user (lw 5.5.5 freezes during installation)

Hello everyone..hopefully someone can help me....im trying to install limewire 5.5.5 to my laptop..then a screen pops up that says unpacking files and the download freezes..can anyone tell me what I am doing wrong I have tried several times to download limewire and it freezes on this screen everytime..HELP
