Limewire was unable to load

whenever i try to open limewire, am message comes up and says Limewire was unable to load. Please download/install limewire again

Am trying to download 5.5.10, my OS is Windows Vista, I have plenty of memory. I have tried running the install direct from Limewire.com, and saving to my desktop, then running. EAch time, the same error message...Limewire is unable to load. Please download and install Limewire again.

Reinstall both LW & Java; Reinstallation Technique
For Vista, you should right-click installer & choose run as Administrator. If still issues try the other fixes point 3 & 5 in Fixes for LW link.

i done everything you say to do here and still cant load limewire 5.5. just comes up cant load limewire, need to install again. when i go to users app data roaming, but there is no limewire folder to delete perferences.
do you konw what could be wrong with my computer. it a pretty new computer. with windows 7.

For Windows 7, set both Java & LW to run as Administrator.
If still issues try changing LW's compatibility mode; for win 7 there's many options to try.
