Burning a CD I always download music from Lime Wire but recently I got Windows 7 and I downloaded the music I wanted and then burned it to a CD (80 minutes) so I could listen to it in my car. When it burned the CD, it came out with approx. 60 songs. I usually only get about 20 songs on the CD. This one that burned all my music (60 songs) does not play in my car:o but it does play on my DVD player. What file on my computer do I call up to find all of the music that I downloaded from Lime Wire? When I put the blank CD into my computer, it comes up with Windows Library and it says I have no music there:mad2: This is frustrating. Are my settings on Lime Wire wrong? Help please. |
The problem is a CD burner setting. You need to set it to burn Audio CD not mp3 disk or any other option. :) If you see you can fit more than 25 songs on the CD then you probably have it set to the wrong burn format. ;) Check your burner program's audio format settings. |
Burning a CD Sounds like you know the correct answer to this so this might sound like a silly question but where do I find the burner settings on my computer. What would I search for to look for it? Thanks for the info:) |
Which burner program are you using? I cannot really advise without knowing what program is burning your disks. |
Burning a CD When I put the CD into my computer - a box comes up and says "Burn a disc using Windows Media Player". |
Under the options tab you should find a list of choices for burning format (for your car you want to select burn as audio CD). There is a free burner program called Burrn that is easier to use and less bloated than WMP. It's easily found via Google. |
