I always download music from Lime Wire but recently I got Windows 7 and I downloaded the music I wanted and then burned it to a CD (80 minutes) so I could listen to it in my car. When it burned the CD, it came out with approx. 60 songs. I usually only get about 20 songs on the CD. This one that burned all my music (60 songs) does not play in my car but it does play on my DVD player. What file on my computer do I call up to find all of the music that I downloaded from Lime Wire? When I put the blank CD into my computer, it comes up with Windows Library and it says I have no music there This is frustrating. Are my settings on Lime Wire wrong? Help please.

The problem is a CD burner setting. You need to set it to burn Audio CD not mp3 disk or any other option.
![]() If you see you can fit more than 25 songs on the CD then you probably have it set to the wrong burn format. Check your burner program's audio format settings.

Sounds like you know the correct answer to this so this might sound like a silly question but where do I find the burner settings on my computer. What would I search for to look for it? Thanks for the info

Which burner program are you using? I cannot really advise without knowing what program is burning your disks.

When I put the CD into my computer - a box comes up and says "Burn a disc using Windows Media Player".

Under the options tab you should find a list of choices for burning format (for your car you want to select burn as audio CD).
There is a free burner program called Burrn that is easier to use and less bloated than WMP. It's easily found via Google. |
