Question Need for Speed

Hey

Pls give us more options for upload speed, preferably up to 100Kb/s. Those who can will undoubtedly crank up the upload to get faster download : everybody gets more happy; and I get what i need: SPEED

Hi!

I think Xolox is one a the fastest (may the fastest!) gnet client!

Only seldom files are very slow...

But this is no problem of xolox just a problem of availbility!

Thumbs up

Okay
But anyway, when you've got access to 100Mbit/s, it seems a little slow when you hit a download with more than 20 servers, then it would be nice to give -- and get more speed.
By the way, I tend to agree upon XoloX being one of the fastest Gnet clients.

I agree, my DSL can handle hundreds of connections at a mere 12K, but I only use between 20-50 at a time.

Perhaps an option to turn it loose completely would kick XoloX up a notch.

For now, I have to use Bearshare when my friends want to get whole albums and movies from me.

Use FTP, it's faster than HTTP (the protocoll Gnutela uses). You need to run a FTP server and your friend uses an FTP client. Check www.tucows.com for those software.

I reccommend War FTP Its served me well in the past, and is very easy to administer. I'll be using it again once I am elegible for broadband...

I agree with ya,

There should be a lot more presets for uploadspeed.
I think that the creators of xolox should at least add 100Kb/s en 1 MB/s.

Greetings,
