If you've tried everything in the links in the two posts above, then ... go to Start menu -> All Programs -> LW -> Uninstall ... if that option is there. In any case, run CCleaner again.

Then get this version described here & follow the instructions: Download ‘Other’ version & simply unzip & use!. The link is now called Other Systems (OS/2, Solaris, Linux) from here Get LimeWire for Your Platform - Lime Wire
