Greetings,
LimeWire 4.9.32 Beta has been released. It features a tool that will let you publish mp3 and ogg files under a Creative Commons license. You can download the beta at http://www.limewire.com/english/content/beta.shtml You can learn more about Creative Commons at http://www.creativecommons.org Feedback is appreciated. http://creativecommons.org/
"Tools Publish from your desktop, browse with mozCC, more..." http://creativecommons.org/tools/ccpublisher "The item you requested does not exist on this server or cannot be served." Seriously though, I was able to add a license to an audio file previously dl'ed from www.magnetmix.com, and later to remove the license. I still am not clear what http address I would enter for my own files, and I expect to hear lots of confusion about that aspect. re other problems: with upload settings allowing 20 uploads per person and 20 uploads max, a 4.9.31 user got the "banned greedy client" treatment on the 5 th upload That's a serious bug! I hope further work on the license branch should stop until other bugs, like the java.lang.OutOfMemoryError ones are fixed

Kellbell There is an etiquette, I think throughout Newsgroups and forums that you do not tag on totally irellevant messages onto the end of threads. Generally they will be ignored.
However..... A great many people "buy" Limewire from scam sites who take their money and send them over to Limewire to obtain what tends to be a free copy of Limewire basic, if they don't supply them with a doctored version containing spy ware or other harmful goodies. I suspect you might be one of those people. If I'm wrong please accept my appologies. If you have a problem, people on this forum will gladly help, but afaik Limewire cannot be reached by phone. I could also guess that a member of your family, or a coleague might have taken out Limewire membership using your card ... I'll stop guessing, but let us help. First question: What is the ammount of the charge you are disputing? |
