You can't uninstall LW whilst it's still open or whilst any of its components are still active. Make sure it has been exited out of the system tray. You can use Control-Alt-Delete & open Task Manager to find out if any of LW's functions are still active. If they are then kill them. Then try again. Last resort would be to reboot 1st.
