I have Windows XP, my provider is Dslextreme. I have a Linksys wired router which has never prevented Limewire or any other sharing program from working. I even added the port # 36605 to Macafee allowing all incoming and outgoing information. My router is UpNc (or whatever its called) enabled. I can't figure out what is going on? |
Are you sure your Linksys router is not at fault? If you installed a new LW it may be trying to listen thru a different port than previously.
