 Firewall hell -what to do? Hi, I just installed Limewire and it will not load. I looked up the FAQs and realize that there's a firewall blocking Limewire. I am using Windows Vista and I have 68% free capacity. I am using Earthlink DSL to connect to the internet. I checked Windows firewall and Limewire is listed in the exceptions. I don't know how to adjust the settings in Windows Defender. I am also using PC Tools Antivirus and Spyware Doctor and I even went so far as turning them off and it still won't connect, so I don't know what to do. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks!  |
