Here's a few things to try:
1. Step 5 & 6 here Fixes for Limewire (click on blue link); ie: change compatibility mode & set to run as admin.

2. If that does not work. You might be best deleting your LW preferences folder whilst LW is closed; Instructions: http://www.gnutellaforums.com/window...tml#post183932
