Hello, yes, I recently got Lime wire beta version. I can't connect at all. I have a Sony Vaio XP-os, using LAN (1394 net adapter; Realtek RTL8139 Family PCI Fast Ethernet NIC) a college network. I have checked the firewalls on both and they are off. I also have did the test and it said " true." I have even tried to delete the preferences folder and start over. I have got so desparate to re-install the whole thing. I have reading these little forum for a minute and it still won't work. I have symantec antivirus corporate edition and I can't anywhere to disable a firewall in the software. Please help me out. I really heard some good things about this software.
