![]() My hosting provider is being paranoid and refusing to let me post a handful of screencaps from anime series and panels from manga for promotional purposes. (To spice up reviews and so on) They have already stated that "everyone else does it without problems" isn't good enough. Does anyone know which part of American copyright law I should quote to prove that they won't get in trouble? I know it's OK for review sites and e-stores to do so without any extra costs. I am Canadian and so is the parent company but the hosting sub-company is based in Atlanta. Last edited by ssokolow; May 9th, 2005 at 09:48 PM. |

![]() AFAIK in USA you can take whatever images you like from other sites, etc. But that's not the case in my country! I guess it depends upon where you live. See Pizza Special with xtra toppings According to a friend of mine who I onced worked for, it's easier to set up a site in the usa than here. For just similar reasons. lol ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Last edited by Lord of the Rings; May 10th, 2005 at 06:16 PM. |
