![]() I think thanksgiving is something to do with pilgrims but, as a UK resident, I have no idea what it is about. I've seen films where Americans sit around the family table eating their thanksgiving meal consisting of candied yams (I know what yams are but "candied yams"?), cranberry sauce (I don't think we have this in the UK) and turkey, which we traditionally have on Christmas day. So if a US forum member would like to explain "Thanksgiving" and what a traditional thanksgiving meal consist of then this UK forum member would have seen the solving of another one of life's little mysteries.
