Above solution worked a treat for me. Running 2.5.5 Pro on a G4 Mac (9.2.2). The only difference is you go to the "Navigation" drop down menu, then "connections" and add the new router ip of 208.239.76.100

'Tis easy!!!!!

I have tried everything even the IP address here, but still no joy in the UK. I use 10.2, but have alkso just installed the pro version on my powerbook on os 9... still does not work.

I can actually connect, but nothing is returned fron the searches. This used to work fine until a few days ago... what's wrong?

Connection problem

I'm like a lot of the others. I can connect using the 208.239.76.100 number. However, when I finally get connected there are few or no files available for hours. I have been virtually "dis-connected" for 3 days. I use Mac OS X latest version...

connection failure

still not working.

Tried adding the connection you suggested. It attempts to connect, then disappears. There are no other connections on the list - did the software not download properly?

the Mac connection problem

Mac 9.2.1 : I tried connectin with the new 2.5.5 LImewire, it failed. I entered the temp fix IP, it connected then disconnected in a few seconds. I then went to the search window, put in a search parameter (anything will do), reconnected with the "file" pull-down menue then IMMEDIATELY hit the search button before it could disconnect again. For whatever reason, that worked and now it connects cleanly every time.

However, this particular host seems to have a very limited number of availble files... or maybe I'm just searching at an unpopular hour.

Mac problem

I tried using port 6347 as suggested above... seems to be a little better than the 6346 port. I have NO IDEA what these port values actually mean, but apparently, 6347 is more super duperer than the 6346.
