Is anyone else still having problems?
 

Running LimeWire 2.5.5 on Win2K Pro.
Was running fine until a week ago.
Now, I can connect occasionally (once or twice in 4 hours) but it only lasts for 2 to 10 minutes before I'm back to RedLightCity...

I've tried all prescribed solutions in this thread & many from others. Has LW weighed in recently?

I had the problem till this evening...and it has mysteriously gone away.

Hey Greg. maybe you can help me out too. i downloaded lw 2.5.5 and i have os 10.2. ive tried entering 208.239.76.100. does it make a difference if their is a period at the end? should i write the port in with it when i add it in quick connect? I also tried changing the port from 6346 to 6347 and it didnt make a difference. And does it make a difference that I am on a LAN? and if it does what can i do about that? Thank You

limewire just stopped doing the business

and then just like magic typed in the new set of numbers and everything is fine and dandy.

I've been trying to run Limewire on my OSx on my new iBook 700 and have had no luck whatsoever. Even after adding the new IP manually and even changing the Port number I still haven't been able to connect. The IP just flashes for a millisecond and dissappears just like all the others. I know that my college T1 network isn't blocking it, so what is the problem. Its been 6 since I first downloaded Limewire and so far I haven't been connected once. Can anyone help me out here??

limewire has gone so far downhill since i first started to use it

I am still having problems connecting. i just joined limewire, so i may not be using it correctly, but i think i am. can someone give me some help please.

i tried to type in that 208.239.76.100 connection but i still did not connect.

looks like i spoke a bit too soon, so much for fine and dandy.

adding the new isp worked for maybe one or two downloads but after that ziltch.

looks like the end of a good thing.

I still have the problem. When I write 208.239.76.100 and click add, Limewire dont wanna type in that... I have the latest version and Mac OS 9.1
