| Connection Problems Problems getting the LimeWire or WireShare program connecting to the Gnutella network.

 dns2go don't work automatically with limewire As for forwarding an dns2go name - that will not work without interaction. Because if your IP changes, limewire will continue reporting your old IP to the gnutella net. Check out the item FORCED_IP_ADDRESS in the file limewire.props for that. As you can imagine, reporting the wrong address is much worse then doing no IP-forwarding at all. So, even if you are using a static name, you still have to update your settings when your IP changes. Uncheck forwarding - Apply - and check it again will do the job for me. Don't forget it. When you're seeing incoming connections, then it should be OK.  |
