Using FW 3.1 Pro and OSX 10.2.6 with Mail and Safari |
I meant LimeWire 3.1 Pro |
Mac OSX and Limewire Pro 3.1 Thanks stief, With your help I think I found my problem. In OSX in the Sharing Control Panel. Go to the Internet Tab and select or check the [Share the connection with other computers on Built-in Ethernet] this helps at least I have had any problem yet and my connection seem faster too. Thanks Agian Brad |
???? Glad it seems better, but that control panel is for people using Airport primarily, or those without a router. In LW, watch your connections tab. If suddenly all connections are lost, you'll probably lock up all internet services again. Hope it works. Cheers Don't forget that as a pro user, you're entitled to email support. |
Problem Solved I was finally able to connect. I simply uninstalled my Zone Alarm software and voila! I was connected. Thanks for all the insightful tips. |
More good news--congrats. Zone Alarm, eh. Search for Zone Alarm to see more on that. Here's one link for starters http://www.gnutellaforums.com/showth...threadid=20526 . . . and download the newest LW version--the developers just cleaned up another big bug! |
