 SUCCESS! Yep, I ended up just giving up on the whole Lime Wire deal. I changed over to Kazaa Lite. At first it wouldn't connect but I went to the Kazaa help section and it suggested changing the port number on my firewall to something over 5000 because more than likely my ISP was blocking me from being able to connect to the Gnutella network. Sure enough after changing the port number to 7000 I connected immediately and its been working fine ever since. Im sure if you know how to change your firewall port number with LimeWire, you will be able to get it working.  |
