 Thanks, Lord of the Rings. Your suggestions helped me solve the freezing problem. Everything is downloading fine now using Limewire.4.07. I will try again to install the 4.4 version and get it to work. I think one thing that helped me was reinstalling the latest version of Java. I have plenty of extra RAM, and a meter - Memory King - that allows me to keep track. Also, I have a RAM defrag I use. Thanks again. By the way, do you have any idea why I can't get the lastest version of Limewire to work? G. Polson   |
