Thank you, thank you, thank you. That worked!!! Et voila - can I ask you a couple of quick questions? I got rid of explorer and popupbegone like you suggested and now use firefox. Already had adaware. What do all the processes that are showing mean and should I do something else to get rid of some of them? Also, our subscription for Norton is coming due next week - is there a different antivirus software that you would suggest in lieu of Norton?

Again, thank you everyone for your help!

I recommend avast in lieu of Norton http://www.avast.com/ It is free, and uses less ram than Norton. You only have to register then they send you the product key via email. I install on windows computers and it works great.

For the processes, you should look for your own processes (Rob and hallie or whatever I can't remember ) Type the name of the processes in Goolge ie: Limewire.exe and see what program responsible of the process, you should be able to cut the crap by desinstalling the programs that you don't use.

Bonne chance
