Firewall you're using Norton Internet Security / anti-virus (windows firewall is turned off)
Modem/router brand & model motorola SB5101 SURFboard Cable Modem
ISP Rogers....
Connection type (DSL etc) Cable
Where you connect from (home, school etc) Home
Are you sharing a connection with other computers NO
Is this your first try with LW no

Do this port test & see what result you get
http://www3.limewire.com:6346
"test worked!"

Do you see the firewall icon (brick wall in front of the blue earth)? No
Within LW, go tools > options > bug reports > view example. Scroll down to 'recieved incoming this session'. Is it true or false? true

btw, when i opened my LW today to check all these settings, it actually reached "TUrbo charged" in 30 secs or so... so it's all good now again! i didn't change anything since the last time i turned off the LW and my comp... the only thing that happened was i turned off computer, went to sleep and turned it on again today... oh well now it works perfectly... so umm.. i donno what's going on but here's the info u asked about. and thanks for the help!

You might find that you have a problem with Rogers, lots of people have!
There's some info here
http://www.gnutellaforums.com/showth...threadid=33712

If you use the search (top, next to quick links) & look for 'rogers', you'll find a few other threads from people experiencing problems.
