Default Many LimeWire Program Files In Libraray????.

Help! LimeWire was working fine for me until i downloaded the update. now when i go to my libraray there are all kinds of program files for LimeWire! if i delete them from the library LimeWire will not work. I have tried deleting the program completly from my comp and reinstalling it. I have also made sure this is the only version of L/W on my comp. What can I do to fix this?

Thanks!

Assuming that you downloaded the update from the official LW website:http://www.limewire.com/, there are not many possibilities. When you tried to uninstall LW, did you use the Start>Programs>Limewire>Uninstall function, or the Control Panel>Remove Program function?
The latter one would have been a bad choice......

Another thing could be that a virus is hidding in your system (the many files in the LW folder indicate something like that).

So, what can you do? If you used the "bad choice" to uninstall LW, then you have to reinstall it with the offline installer of LW (download from the link above). When LW is in the installation process, it will automatically remove any previous version.
If that doesn't solve the issue, I reckon to check for any possible trojan, virus or whatever culprit you might have got.......

The same files are in my folder (54 files and folders, to be exactly) and the folder size is 17.3 MB. So, if it is the same in yours, then I don't see what the problem is, except that you seem to share the Limewire Program Folder (that's why they show up in the Library).
Go LW>Tools>Options>Sharing and then click on the program folder and remove, and then click apply before OK.
