I cant connect to LW, i get 1 green bar at the bottom and it just says connectin to network. i am in a university and am usinng their broadband connection. i have already done the gnutella thing and it just wont connect. i did that test posted on here and it said test worked. some1 pleeese help me, cus i feel stupid

oh yeah and even if i turn off my windows firewall it still shows the wall infront of the globe

i have the same problem, but iam using the internet from my home.

I got the same problem, but sometimes i do get a connection when LW feels like it.

There is a problem with limewire imo, all of us arent having this same problem for nothing. I'm at home and still can't connect, I have spent hours and hours of reading and testing on here and nothing seems to work.

bdalekid is an expert because he has read the entire forums & tried everything apparently. Though he didn't tell us what he tried or anything much else as the forum rules require.

i have been having this problem for quite some time now, but as i have said before, sometimes it just connects when it feels like it for some reason.

I am far from an expert, what else is there to try as you say, i tried everything. the posts say to delete the .limewire file, why is it in the download if we have to delete it ?
