Exclamation Mac OS X Firewall Problems

I have been using LW for OS X Leopard (10.5.6) for quite a while now, but i can't connect now because of a firewall. I can't figure out how to turn it off. Any help would be appreciated.

Specs:
1.25 GHz PPC
1.25 GB ram
80 gb hard drive with 37.78 gb free.

Modem/Router brand & model would be handy for us to know.

Have you tried these tips: If LW Will Not Connect (click on the blue link). Try a combination of those tips.

Also, OSX Firewall settings for Tiger/Leopard (post #2 for Leopard) to make sure you have an allowance for LW.

lol yes ... if you have a lot of incomplete files, connection can be much slower.
