xana is flying high
Default I have a problem, I have tried everything!

Please and thank-you in advance....

OK, here's my issues at stake here, first I have windows xp PRO, using the windows sp2 firewall. I also have the limewire PRO 4.10.9, I do not want to update to a higher version either, because I am sick and tired of paying for all the updates, so rather just stick to this 4.10.9 of limewire PRO. Everytime I click to open my limewire PRO up, it disconnects my dsl. I have read that firewall link from limewire faq's site about the firewalls, and followed the directions in it. I now have that port added from that site to my firewall of sp2 firewall. After I followed these directions, I still have these issues, where everytime I opened my LW PRO up, it disconnects my dsl, red lights flashing on and it does reconnect after about 10 mins or so. After these 10 mins, my dsl is now connected online. I have already also, tried that link I saw in this forum about going to some site and having it tested, well after clicking that link from my browser, the test showed, " you have passed the test", so I know it's not my firewall, I have even went into LW tools, options, bug reports, view example, and scrolled down, and it says recieved incoming this session, which was TRUE. So I know that maybe this is not a firewall issue, because I added the port number from LW into my firewall of sp2.

What else could be the problem? Why is it disconnecting me everytime I click to open the program? It disconnnects me for about 10 mins and re connects me back online. Just really frustrating.... can't figure this out....
