You will have to forward a Port...These instructions are for a Zyxel Prestige 600 as you only said 600 series, if you can find the speciffic number , I can find those particular instructions, if it is the 600 follow the steps in this link...

I have a few questions, maybe I am not doing the right thing. Do you ahve aim or anything we can talk on for a min? I have aim yahoo or msn, which one is good?

It says:

Open a web browser like internet explorer or Netscape. Enter the ip address of your router in the address bar of your browser. In the picture above the address bar has http://www.google.com in it. Just replace all of that with the ip address of your router. By default the ip address should be set to 192.168.1.1.

When I do this, it sends me to a search page.

Try this instead Go to control panel > Network and Internet connections and select My network places and double click on your modem's name it should log you straight into your modem...

Only 1 bar on connection at all times-2006-12-30_115838.png
