 It sounds like Xplornet throttle p2p, that would explain your slow downloads. Were you with them before you switched to satellite? There might be a different threshold for throttling with a satellite service. Do speeds improve if you download between midnight & 6 a.m.? http://www.dslreports.com/forum/remark,16732782 http://www.lincsat.com/DocsLegal/fair_access_policy.pdf Other people have had issues too...use the forum search to look for Xplornet. You shouldn't be running 2 firewalls together. Disable one & configure the other to allow LW  Do you have a router as well as the satellite modem? If so, we need the brand & model. I can't find much info about your modem but there doesn't seem to be an internal firewall.  |
