 Winckers, Tiscali might have something to do with your problem  Have a look through these links & see if anything helps.Tiscali & Limewire can't connect between 5pm-11pm I have found a solution to getting Limewire to work with Tiscali If Tiscali are causing the problem (some people just can't seem to connect & some eventually can), there might not be much you can do. One of those threads above tells you how to change ports...see if that works for you. Here are a few things to try as well, if you like. Make sure that your XP firewall is configured to allow LW. Have a look at these instructions for port forwarding. Don't forget the step of setting up a static IP address. Port Forwarding for the Netgear DG834GT LW's listening port, port in the 'manual port forward' box & port forwarded within a router must all be the same number. Reinstall this version of Java. Use the JRE offline installer & remove your current Java version before you install this one.
