Things have still sort of sorted themselves out through the night i suppose. On my laptop, the firewall is still visible on the globe ![]() My pc's has gone but is still having the same affect on the speed... Thanks for your help anyway guys ![]() |

![]() Hi chrisallen89...What do you have on your lap top that may be different to your desk top... Here are some really good freebie spyware and anti virus apps...Remember you can have all of the spyware apps on your comp as each one will detect something the other may of missed...But only use one anti virus app, if you have more than one they will clash... ![]() http://www.gnutellaforums.com/257324-post2.html

![]() Most British ISP's shape p2p at some point. Some 24 hours a day, some only during certain hours of day such as peak hours. Try downloding a file from the magnet site: + MagnetMix.com +: The Source for Good Content If you find you get very low speeds then chances are your p2p use is being shaped. Download speeds generally depend upon your sources of download. So try finding more sources. |

![]() Try checking the top speed of your router. Some routers will only handle 58mps and some will go as high as 108mbs. If u have one at 108mbs (or more) you may have to buy a bus adapter to be able to have full usage. Most laptops' wireless chips will not handle the higher speeds. |
