have you ever heard of PeerGuardian?...it is basically a mini firewall which blocks known bad IPs...I use it all the time, and it regularly lights up like a christmas tree when on the gnutella network...

btw, LOTR is 'just' the admin here..he is in no way officially associated with LW..in a nutshell, he's just a nutcase who has taken care of these forums for quite a while now (and IMHO done a damñ fine job of it!)

goodkid1 how did you come to the conclusion that your connection problems are with your ISP and your friends problems as well....(I've looked back over your posts)

As a corporate systems analyzer, you should be the first not to assume that everybodies problems are the same and there will be just the one fix...

How about you and your 5 friends post your details and we can have a look at all the different set ups...You maybe surprised...
