wondering why is just really nice
Default

I found this info on your router, it has a Nat Firewall so you will need to Port Forward...
thinkbroadband :: Broadband Hardware Reviews
I will point out when you get to the box that says Port Range name it limewire and add the number 64049 in all three boxes for the TCP and then make the same rule for the UDP using the same number again..

When you have finished with the router, in limewire place the number 64049 into the manual port forward box as well as 64049 into the listen port box and select apply...

These are very similar instructions if not the same...They have actual limewire configration instructions...
Port Forwarding for the Westell 2200 Wirespeed

All of these instructions will get rid of your wall in front of the globe...(hopefully)
You can also try these tips as well...

Try uninstalling your Java from the add/remove programs and then re-install the JRE 5.11 offline version....
Archive: Download Java 2 Platform Standard Edition (J2SE) 5.0 Update 11

If that does not help with your problem try deleting your preference folder...
Fixes for Limewire when LW isn't operating as it should
