Connection Problems Problems getting the LimeWire or WireShare program connecting to the Gnutella network.

![]() I was using the old version of limewire, but it kept opening up at random times. I figured there was a bug so I used Panda ActiveScan Pro to fix the bugs. I deleted the old limewire and installed the latest version and Java 6. I used to be able to get all green bars and it didnt show the brick wall. Now I only get one green bar and it shows that I have a firewall. I dont! I have tried the following: 1. went into Network Connections and disabled the firewall. 2. Deleted Panda ActiveScan Pro Didnt help. 3. Read almost every post in here about connection problems. ![]() 1. OS version: Windows Xp 2. Firewall: None 3. Ram: 640 MB 4. Hard Disk space available: 23.8 GB 5. Connection type: Cable 6. Modem & router brand name & model numbers: Ambit 10C018 7. Connect from: house 8. Version of LimeWire (LW) & Java: LimeWire 4.8.1; Java 6 Update_02 9. My ISP: Time Warner 10. Simple test: Says: Your test worked 11. Sharing the connection: No 12. st try at LW: No 13. Brick wall: Yes 14. Port forwaring or is UPnP enabled? UPnP (also tried changing it to the manual port 6346) 15. Security programs: None 16. Country I'm living in: USA |

![]() You originally had a virus that's why limewire kept popping up all the time... Use this fix just to make sure it's all gone and then we will have a look at your connection issues... http://www.gnutellaforums.com/231269-post141.html
