 weird connection problem.... Well I downloaded Limewire for home use. I have a laptop and windows XP. Well when I get on Limewire I have just one green connection bar and the rest are still red. When I try to search for a file a pop-up appears saying that Limewire is still trying to connect...I have let Limewire sit there for about over an hour and I still get the same message. Also if I ignore the pop-up and still try to search for a file it does not find anything....can someone please help me out, thanks. Ravik Lefont.  |

| I have had the same problem in Windows XP. What virus protection program are you using? I use Trend Micro Systems PC-cillin. When I turn off the virus program, I am able to connect without any problems. Takes a minute, but it does connect. I'm searching for information now to add an exception to my virus program so that LimeWire will connect while Trend is running. |
