Follow the instructions carefully.
The gnutella.net file is not supposed to go inside your Program Files...it needs to go within LW's preferences folder. Check that link for how to find the folder & how to replace the file etc 
If that doesn't help, try the other fixes in that thread. If you're still stuck, you need to post back with your system details.
