![]() Queeny08. Try replacing/deleting yr gnutella.net file from your limewire folder. To do this first you must show all your files (including hidden files) like this: (XP SP2) [1] Open windows explorer:- select Tools à Folder Options à View à Show hidden files and folders.[2] In windows explorer look for the Limewire Folder – go here:- c:\documents and settings\username\applications data\LimeWire (or) c:\documents and settings\username\limewire [3] Ensure that limewire is completely off (check yr system tray bottom right-ensure that the LW icon is not there--if it is exit from it) now open the .limewire folder and look for and delete the gnutella.net file ![]() [4] Now download a new version of (gnutella.net)and save it to your desktop - [5] Drag the new gnutella.net file from your desktop into the limewire folder. [6] Close the LW Folder and start up Limewire If this doesn't fix yr problem pse read the stcky thread (If LW will not connect) at the top of page one and work yr way through the fixes.
