When i try to reinstall it, It says "an Older Version of Limewire appears to be running, You must Exit the Old Version before continuing with installation, Once you have exited Limewire, Click Retry.

But I am not on an Old verson, I uninstalled that already. I will restart my computer and see if that works.

Did you do it like this :-

[1] Uninstall the old version before installing the new

v Uninstall Limewire by using LW uninstall program not the add/remove control panel

Start -> All Programs -> Limewire -> Uninstall

[2] Delete the old LW folders from the Programs directory before installing the new version

v c:\Program Files\Limewire <--- (delete this folder)

[3] Download/Install new version of LW

[4] If you are using JRE-6 (java script) and still have problems download
the older version – JRE-5 Update 11 from here:- (uninstall JRE-6 first)
If problems continue pse try this link (If LW will not connect)

LW links are changed at times to match the current problems.
