![]() After I click on LW it gives me a message that one or more files or protocols that LW uses are no longer associated with LW. It used to work fine. I then had a problem with iTunes and had to call them for help. Knowing nothing about computers, I did exactly what they told me to to get iTunes working again. They told me my problem with iTunes was because of LW. So I'm thinking that maybe they had me to either change or delete a file that I needed for LW. PLEASE HELP ME!!!! ![]() |

![]() Ok pse try this:- You must show all hidden files like so:- [1] Open windows explorer:- select Tools à Folder Options à View à Show hidden files and folders. [2] In windows explorer look for the Limewire Folder – go here:- c:\documents and settings\username\applications data\LimeWire (or) c:\documents and settings\username\limewire [3] Ensure that limewire is completely off - (check that the LW icon is not in the system tray at bottom right-if so click on it and exit) now open the .limewire folder and look for and delete the gnutella.net file ![]() [4] Now download a new version of (gnutella.net)and save it to your desktop - [5] Drag the new gnutella.net file from your desktop into the limewire folder. [6] Close the LW Folder and start up Limewire If still no good pse read the sticky threads at the top of page 1 -- these are working aids/guides to help you re-connect

![]() It was working about 45 minutes ago. I had to get off for dinner and now it isn't working. The connections are 'connecting' which is what they weren't doing in the past. I'll just give it a for more minutes and see if it will start up again. |
