well here we go i just started using lime wire and it does not work it either is not connecting or it has other problems. please help me to use this site. or give me a phone # so i can talk to a real live person.

In Limewire Links (below) click on (system details) fill in as much as you can and post back here -- in the meantime have alook at the other links (If LW will not connect) (LW troubleshooting) Most of the known fixes are in here -- the only other problems are to do with configuring the firewall to accept limewire. (see info in LW Troubleshooting re adding an exception for LW & the Gnutella port)

LW links are changed at times to match the current problems.

i'm having a similar problem, i have windows vista and my firewall is set to enable limewire but i cant get past step 6 of set up. i have never actually gotten past the set up process...it is downloaded but that's it. help!
