 limewire is running but not showing up i click the icon, nothing. i right click and hit open, nothing. but then when i do the Ctrl, Alt, & delete thing and click processes, its running. i tried to uninstall and install, i did a system restore. nothing is working. anyone know what it could be??  |

| It May be a Java Issue. Try updating. Remove All Java versions installed (via Add/Remove Programs) before you install the latest Version. (Download the JRE Offline Installer) Java SE Downloads Fifth one down. You say "Nothing is Working" Do you literally mean "Nothing" or just LW??

| ok i found 2 things that were Java related. are there some that might not have Java in the name that i might miss? i just want to be sure. |

| and i mean just limewire is not working. on the windows task manager it says limewire is running, but i dont see it. lol. |

| Ashley, Glad we got LW working, but you need to be more specific in your posts, Please. "Sound Device" ?? I have one of those and He is Sixteen years old. LOL. I would Love to have a Mute Button for His Mouth  . Are you maybe talking about your Media Player needing Codec's?? Need more Info.
