Firewall issues!

Hi. I have used limewire a lot and now I have a firewall...xp firewall is turned off. I am using Norton anti-virus 2007 and can't figure out how to turn it off if it is indeed on...hasn't been an issue up till now, so I don't see why it is. I have speed touch modem, lots of space, high-speed light connection, just updated limewire as I was told to do, connecting from home, my ISP is Telus in Canada, did the simple test and it said it worked...any other info needed? Please help.

Does your Norton anti-virus 2007 software include a firewall -- if so ensure that your XP firewall remains disabled. With nortons once you upgrade your version of Limewire you have to reconfigure your firewall settings to allow limewire access to/from your computer. Click on this link (Limewire & Norton Internet Security 2007) and scroll down to post #2 @ #3 -- let us know how you get on please

I checked everything, and my system was set accordingly. However when I logged on after work today, it worked?!? I have noticed that every 3rd or 4th time I turn on limewire, I encounter a firewall...I can't explain it. Thank you for all your help.
