Limewire was working, now not- Help!
 

Limewire was working about two weeks ago. I exited the program as I needed to restart because machine was running slowly. For two weeks, I didn't access the program. Now, I started Limewire and have no connectivity. Last time I had some difficulties obtaining connectivity, but when I opened the ports on 6346 (after a Google search) I was able to obtain connectivity.

I have attempted to do the same thing and open the ports on the location on which Limewire says it's "listening" (from the Tools/Options/Advanced/Firewall Settings tab).

I'm not terribly computer savvy, so I'm stuck at this point. I still have only one bar of connectivity and it's been about 1 1/2 hours so I should have connected by now.

Any assistance that you might be able to provide would be very appreciated. :)

In Limewire Links (below) click on (If LW will not connect) and go through these fixes -- if that doesn't fix it try this link (Fixes for LW when LW isn't operating as it should) -- if yr problem still remains click on (system details) fill in and post back here.
